Liebenguth allegedly became upset after receiving a $15 parking ticket in New Canaan and made a racially-charged comment toward a black parking enforcement officer and said the attendant should remember what happened in Ferguson, MO.

Liebenguth said the accusations against him are false outside of a court appearance. He also said that there is surveillance video of the incident, but that police won’t release it. Chief Leon Krolikowski said in September he was unaware of any footage.
