New Commercial Lender at Bankwell


February 20, 2014- New Canaan, CT – Susan Kornberg has been named Vice President, Commercial Lender, at Bankwell, it was announced today by Bankwell President, Heidi DeWyngaert. 

 

Bankwell provides banking and lending services to consumers, small and medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations throughout Fairfield County. The bank’s mission is to provide the highest level of customer service and add value to the communities it serves.

Ms. Kornberg joins the organization with more than 20 years in the financial and commercial loan industry, and will be responsible for developing Commercial and Industrial lending throughout Connecticut.   Most recently, she was a senior lender at Connecticut Community Bank, where she managed a significant portfolio of small and middle market C&I relationships as well as commercial real estate.  Her background also includes such disciplines as credit administration, loan workouts and debt restructure.

A resident of West Hartford, Connecticut, Ms. Kornberg earned a B.A. at Vassar College, an M.B.A. in Finance at the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
