New Head of C&I Lending at Bankwell

Paul F. Larsen has joined Bankwell as SVP, Head of C&I Lending, it was announced by Heidi DeWyngaert, Bankwell EVP and Chief Lending Officer. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the Bankwell C&I lending team to develop and manage middle market and small business lending relationships.

Larsen brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience in commercial lending to Bankwell, with expertise in the areas of business development, relationship management, strategic planning, corporate finance, commercial finance and commercial leasing. He was most recently Managing Director & Regional Market Executive, Commercial Banking, at Santander Bank, serving Southern New England.

Larsen graduated Cum Laude from Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Business Administration, Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport. He is a Certified Cash Manger, CCM (Certified Treasury Professional). He lives in Newtown, Connecticut with his wife.
