New Medical Center in Works for Wilton

A state-of-the-art medical center is being planned for in the town of Wilton.

An article in the Wilton Bulletin said that the facility will be located at 241 Danbury Rd. and will open in June 2016.

An existing 40,000-square-foot building will be completely renovated on the six-acre site, the article said, adding that it will house “an assemblage of healthcare professionals.”

New Haven-based real estate investment firm Cambridge Hanover will be opening the facility.

Because of its location, the center is expected to also serve the towns of Ridgefield, Weston, New Canaan, Westport and Norwalk.
