New Menus at Picador by Chef Corey Falcone

NEW MENU AT PICADOR
Now Open on Monday Featuring a New Lunch Prix-Fixe

NEW CANAAN, Conn. December 4th 2013 – A new menu created by the recently acquired chef at Picador went into effect last week. The menu features new entrees and a selection of Mediterranean cuisine served as Spanish style tapas.  In addition to an updated menu, the restaurant will now be open on Monday and feature an all new lunch prix-fixe menu for the first time.

The new prix-fixe menu called “Express Lunch” launches on Monday, December 9th and will cost patrons less than twenty dollars for a two course meal which includes a glass of wine. Picador co-owners Ray Rivera and Leo Gaspar are working with their chef, Corey Falcone, to design a menu that is lighter but still fulfilling during the eventful holiday season.

“We wanted to create something easy for guests, a quick lunch during the weekday” explained Gaspar. "We're also taking into consideration the need for a lighter lunch that is really affordable". Unlike the regular menu, which allows customers to custom order, the new lunch prix-fixe won't allow any substitutions and is available Monday through Saturday during standard lunch hours.
