New School Start Times Studied In New Canaan
Students currently start at 7:30 a.m. at New Canaan High School.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The New Canaan Board of Education is the latest school district to study school start times, in a move that could possibly help with student performance, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.
District officials are studying the issue because some other area districts have changed their start times, and some experts believe there may be links between more sleep and student achievement.
New Canaan will study the issue during the upcoming school year. Currently, students at New Canaan High School start at 7:30 a.m.
