NY Man Arrested On Assault Charge: New Canaan PD

NEW CANAAN, CT — Police said a 45-year-old New York man was arrested on a warrant by New Canaan police Sunday charging him with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Police said they were dispatched to the Norwalk Hospital Emergency Room Department on Dec. 20 at approximately 3 p.m. to take a complaint from a victim of an alleged domestic incident that occurred earlier that day at a Canaan Close residence. Police said a subsequent investigation resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Kai Cui, 45, of New York, N.Y. The accused turned himself in at police headquarters on the active warrant Sunday.

Police said no further information will be released as this matter is domestic in nature.
