Caroline Holme, 67, died on March 24, 2019 at her home in New Canaan, CT. Born in Hartford, the eldest child of Benjamin and Dilys (Jones) Holme, Caroline was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and a precious friend to many.

Despite physical and mental health challenges, she was upbeat, accepting and grateful her entire life. Her anchor and lifeline was her beloved community in Alcoholics Anonymous and Overeaters Anonymous, where she celebrated her 41st anniversary this year.

Caroline was a talented poet who published several chapbooks. She worked for many years as a puzzle editor at Penny Press.

Caroline will be deeply missed by her brother John Holme of Oakland CA, her sister-in-law Margit, her nephews Benjamin and Alexander, and numerous cousins in New Hampshire.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home (12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk), with her Funeral Services to be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3 at the Riverside Cemetery Chapel (81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk).
