Obituary: Kathleen Le Jacq, Former New Canaan Resident

The following obituary of Kathleen Le Jacq, formerly of New Canaan, is from Hoyt Funeral Home:

Kathleen Le Jacq, formerly of Manhasset, NY, Greenwich, CT and New Canaan, CT passed onto eternal life on March 31, 2018 at her home in Meadow Ridge, Redding, CT, with her husband of 65 years, Louis and family accompanying her.

Kathleen lived for her family and God. Her sacrifices in loving service to both, inspired those closest to her.

In addition to her husband Louis, Kathleen is survived by her five children: Patricia Phelan (William), Fr. Peter Le Jacq, Kathleen Le Jacq, Rosemary Moore (Frank) and Sarah Le Jacq, as well as their eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Additionally, Kathleen is survived by her two sisters Marion Kissane and Margaret Rogers, as well as seven nieces and nephews. Kathleen’s parents were the late Sarah and Michael O’Shea. Kathleen’s family thanks you for your prayers at this time.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday April 5, 2018 in The Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, Main Chapel, 55 Ryder Rd., Ossining, NY 10562 with her son Fr. Peter Le Jacq officiating, Interment followed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
