Obituary: Kenneth 'Bud' Crosby, 85, Of New Canaan

Kenneth "Bud" Crosby of Boynton Beach, Florida age 85 passed away on December 29, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

Bud was born in Greenwich, CT and was the son of Kenneth and Ethel Crosby. He lived in New Canaan, CT where he met Anna and were happily married for 66 years. They raised their family in Norwalk and Wilton and retired to Florida. He will be incredibly missed by Anna, his children Bob and his wife Meg, Lisa and her husband, Mark, and his four grandchildren that he loved beyond words, Bobby, Brian, Joey, and Brooke. He will walk again in heaven with his eldest son, Ken (predeceased).

Bud served in the National Guard and managed a lumber yard until retirement. When not working, he spent time with his family playing and watching sports. He coached his son Bob’s little league team for years and never missed a game that Bob or Lisa played in growing up. He continued being a fan to his grandchildren and watched numerous baseball, lacrosse, football, volleyball, basketball, and softball games. He enjoyed all this while at the side of the love of his life Anna.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 21 Cherry Street, New Canaan, CT 06840. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the mass.
