The exhibit compares and contrasts the work of father and son. The energetic post-impressionistic works by A.S. Daggy and the expressionistic paintings and prints of his son, Richard, share an affection for the energetic use of color and line.
Though never members of The Silvermine Group of Artists (An art colony extant from 1908-1922.), A.S. Daggy joined with them as a founding member of the Silvermine Guild in 1922. Richard became a member in 1924 and taught there for many years.
