Outback Teen Center Building Structure Declared Unsound

Editor's note: We previously shared this article, here it is again in case you missed it.NEW CANAAN, CT—Officials have declared that the building that previously housed the Outback Teen Centerwas poorly constructed and will be closed to the public due to its unsound nature.

A number of beams in the building are cracked, warped or twisted, according to the New Canaanite.
The town inherited the building July 1 after the non-profit that ran the center folded.

First Selectman Robert Mallozzi ordered the building to be inspected after the town took possession of it.
