Two men who are walking from Florida to Maine to raise opioid overdose awareness recently passed into Connecticut

Two men who are walking from Florida to Maine along Route 1 to raise opioid overdose awareness recently passed into Connecticut.

Brett Bamble completed a similar walk from Delaware to San Francisco after his sister Brittney died from an accidental opioid overdose in 2014. She had started taking painkillers due to back pain and eventually spiraled into addiction.

John Azerolo joined Bamble for a few hundred miles on his first walk.
