NCPD: Man Driving 80 MPH in 40 MPH Zone was Intoxicated
That plus $4k reported stolen from dresser drawer and lawn furniture stolen.

82 in a 40 MPH Zone
An officer arrested a motorist who was allegedly going more than 40 mph over the speed limit while driving under the influence.
The officer was conducting speed enforcement on Smith Ridge Road near Country Club Road on Oct. 25 around 12:17 a.m., police said. The vehicle was allegedly going 82 mph in a 40 mph zone.

The operator, Corey Wolfel, 21 of South Salem, NY allegedly failed a field sobriety test and had a blood-alcohol level of .145, police said.
He was charged with DWI, speeding and failure to carry an insurance card.

Money Missing from Drawer
A South Avenue resident reported $4,100 in cash stolen from a dresser drawer.
The report was made on Oct. 21 and the complainant said that the money went missing on Oct. 18, police said.
There were no signs of forced entry to the residence and the incident remains under investigation.
Lawn Furniture Taken
A Main Street resident reported that lawn furniture was stolen over the course of three days.
A bench first went missing on Oct. 17, then another bench disapeared Oct. 20. On Oct. 21 the thief or thieves came for the ottomans.
The value of all the missing items is about $100.
