New Canaan resident Peter Seldin, St. Luke’s alumni parent and longtime trustee, was named Trustee Emeritus during the 2018 State of the School. The Trustee Emeritus is St. Luke’s recognition of retired board members who have demonstrated exceptional personal commitment through extraordinary generosity, spirit, and leadership.
During the presentation, St. Luke’s Board of Trustees President James Andersen said: “The Seldins were early believers in the potential of St. Luke’s. They not only expected this school to go Above & Beyond—they were ready to help take us there. In addition to financial generosity, the Seldins gave the gift of time. Peter served as a St. Luke’s trustee for 18 years, retiring from the board in 2016 … Peter Seldin has joined our very own Trustee Hall of Fame.”
