Bob Rumbold, the popular Fox 61 sportscaster, is retiring from the station after 23 years, he announced on Fox 61 website.
Rumbold covered all sports for the Connecticut station, all of it with his signature brand of humor and dedication. See the video below.
While it was 23 years with Fox 61, Rumbold has been in the business for 45 years, The Laurel reports.

"Just so you know this is not goodbye. I am retiring from Fox 61, not life," wrote Rumbold. "I will definitely be around. I’ll see you at a sporting event very soon. Where else!"
