Renewed Wedding Vows Ceremony Held At Waveny LifeCare

The New Canaan nursing facility's "Main Street" served as the location for happy couple's renewed nuptials.

NEW CANAAN, CT — From Waveny LifeCare Network: The joyful couple walked down the aisle on “Main Street” at The Village, which was transformed into a beautiful wedding venue for the occasion, where Rev. Tom Lilly, Waveny’s Director of Spiritual Services, presided over their vows. The ceremony included a reaffirmation of love and commitment, and honored a native wedding tradition of Stefan’s, with him singing a traditional love song to JoAnn.

Stefan, a Romanian scientist, lived in Denmark for many years as a political refugee and later moved to the United States, where he met JoAnne, a Midwest native, while working at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
