Renovations To New Canaan's Saxe Middle School Garner Praise: Report

NEW CANAAN, CT — With the recent completion of an $18.6 million renovation project, New Canaan's Saxe Middle School can properly accommodate the more than 1,300 students who were expected to start the school year there this week, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.

Recently named one of the top three middle schools in Connecticut, Saxe received a two-story addition of more than 23,000 square feet that will add a net of 12 new classrooms.

Additionally, the project brought the auditorium up to code and increased the sizes of several classrooms to offer more space to students.
