Residents Create Art At New Canaan's Waveny LifeCare

NEW CANAAN, CT — From Waveny LifeCare Network: Artist Holly Lapine led the residents of The Inn, Waveny’s independent living community, in a creative afternoon “Painting the Music.”

Residents created original art inspired by music and images from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Inn’s artists used orange water used to thin their paint, and had vanilla lotion and mangoes on hand to capture the feeling of Gauguin’s Tahiti.
