Residents Express Concern About Farm Rd./Main St. Intersection

Some worry the area is unsafe for pedestrians.

NEW CANAAN, CT—Some residents have expressed concern about safety at the intersection of Farm Road and Main Street.

New sidewalks have increased pedestrian traffic. The four-way intersection often confuses drivers about who has the right of way and they sometimes don't pay attention to pedestrians, according to the New Canaanite.

Concerns were brought up at a traffic calming working group meeting.
