NEW CANAAN, CT — The town Plan of Conservation and Development Sub-Committee has launched another community engagement activity available to residents through March 15.

Those taking the survey will be asked to what extent they agree or disagree with the proposed statements of “Who We Are” and “Our Vision for the Future” before they are finalized, according to town officials.

Residents are encouraged to fill out the quick survey at arcgis.com and provide feedback. Reviewing the statement and filling out the brief survey is the public's final chance to provide feedback before the next phase of plan development which is creating implementation steps, according to town officials.

This latest opportunity for public input follows multiple public hearings held in October through January.

According to town officials, the sub-committee has been working to analyze all public comments to develop a "Community Vision Statement" that will become the guiding framework that will shape the contents of the 2024 Plan of Conversation and Development.

The vision statement will also establish where the community is now and where it wants to be in the next 10 years, as well as serve as a reflection of the community's key values and priorities.
