Saxe Project Advances in New Canaan
A vote by the finance board is another step toward approval.
The New Canaan Board of Finance voted 8-0 to approve the $18.6 million Saxe Middle School renovation and expansion proposal.
The vote means the board recommends the Town Council issue bonds to pay for the project, according to the New Canaanite.
Town Council is expected to vote on the matter Nov. 19.
