Service to Remember the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr
An event to honor Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr on January 20, 2020
All are welcome at the service to honor the great civil rights leader, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This annual service is sponsored by the Interfaith Council of New Canaan and will feature tributes and testimonies from local clergy, town officials and students. A food drive of non-perishable items will be held in conjunction with the service. Food collected will be given to the New Canaan Food Pantry, a service of New Canaan’s Department of Human Services.
Please join us at the United Methodist Church in New Canaan at 165 South Avenue at 10:30 am on Monday, January 20, 2020. The service features guest speaker Christian Peele and several music selections. Refreshments will be served following the service.
