Service to Remember The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

All are welcome at the service to honor the great civil rights leader, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The annual service is sponsored by the Interfaith Council of New Canaan and will feature tributes and testimonies from local clergy, town officials and students. A food drive of non-perishable items will be held in conjunction with the service. Food collected will be given to the New Canaan Food Pantry, a service of New Canaan’s Department of Human Services. The items most needed at this time are: pasta sauce, kids’ snacks, juice boxes, canned stew, and oatmeal.

Please join us at the United Methodist Church in New Canaan at 165 South Avenue at 10:30 am on Monday, January 18, 2016. Refreshments will be served following the service.
