Several Packages Stolen from New Canaan Homes Thursday
Police may have a lead on a suspect vehicle.
NEW CANAAN, CT—Police are asking residents to be extra vigilant after several reported package thefts that occurred on Dec. 8.
"Federal Express had issued an alert to New Canaan Police that a white vehicle might be following its delivery trucks and attempting to steal packages after they are delivered to homes," said Lt. Jason Ferraro, police spokesman.
The vehicle has a Connecticut license plate that begins with 724.

"Further we are asking residents to monitor any surveillance cameras if they had any deliveries by Fed Ex for a white vehicle possibly observed in the video," Ferraro said.
