Sign Calling for Removal of New Canaan Coach Called 'Inappropriate'

A sign calling for the removal of a New Canaan Youth Football coach is under investigation.

An article on NewCanaanite.com said Wendy Cunney, the nonprofit organization’s president, removed the sign that stated a certain individual “must go” from a community message board at Farm Road and South Avenue.

She said they were upset about the sign and called it “unauthorized and inappropriate,” NewCanaanite.com reported.

Cunney said the Parents Code of Conduct states any concerns anyone has must be addressed with the proper officials.
