The St. Luke’s Art Department is proud to have six student artists participating in the Stamford Art Association’s 45th Annual Student Show. The exhibition runs from February 25-March 15, 2018 and represents some of the finest student artwork in the area.
St. Luke's Artists Meg Adams ‘18, Emma Cropper ‘19, Bridget Dalton ‘18, Tierney Schiff ‘19, Olivia Schwartz ‘19, and Isabelle Stone ‘18 have created artworks with such materials and mediums as digital imaging, graphite drawing, acrylic paint and photography.
St. Luke's Instructor of Photography Jeorge Yankura shared, "Art exhibitions are an integral part of an artist’s education; students are able to see their work matted, framed and on display in a professional gallery, alongside the work of their peers from other schools." She continued, "Through such exhibitions, the community is able to bear witness to the end result of great labors of love and dedication, and share in the wondrous visions rendered onto canvas, paper, ceramic and other media."
