Haden was thrilled to receive the award: “I love the field hockey team here at St. Luke’s and I love the sport—so it’s really great to be recognized in this way for both my accomplishments on the field but also my academics.”

The field hockey season is extremely demanding with 20 games throughout the fall and lots of traveling to and from the various schools. Haden believes her time-management is key to her success on and off the field: “It can be very difficult during the season to manage my time as we have a lot of games and later practices. I think the biggest thing is prioritizing and not putting one above the other, so I have to plan my schedule accordingly.”
