St. Luke's History Teachers Explore Vietnam
Six St. Luke's history teachers took a inspiring 12-day professional development trip visiting different parts of Vietnam.

During St. Luke's spring break, the Upper School history teachers spent twelve days traveling and exploring Vietnam as part of a professional development trip Teachers Abby Bielski, Samantha Gordon, Jason Haynes, Hunter Martin, Mitch Murphy and David Parsons made their way down through the country, passing through four very different cities, encountering many aspects of the country—from its ancient culture to its long history (including memories of "the American War") to Vietnam’s contemporary emergence as a global economic power. Their ability to share and collaborate in the moment was a truly enriching professional experience. Now they have returned, the teachers are exploring ways in which they can share all they learned with the students and school community.
