The Parents' Association Speaker Series brought psychologist and author Dr. Barbara Greenberg
Dr. Barbara Greenberg, psychologist and co-author of Teenage as a Second Language: A Parent’s Guide to Becoming Bilingual, recently spoke with a standing-room-only audience of St. Luke’s School parents.
Dr. Greenberg dispelled some myths about teenagers such as they do not care about their parents being around or care what they think.
“When your teen hovers around you, he or she is often looking for your attention,” Greenberg said “but they usually want you to be quietly present.”
