St. Luke's Senior Helps Organize Operation Med School Event
St. Luke's students participate in recent conference for youth exploring careers in medicine. St. Luke's parent leads one of the sessions.
St. Luke’s Pre-Med and WISE (Women in STEM Education) club members attended the second annual Operation Med School (OMS) conference held on November 9th at Sacred Heart Greenwich. This event helps high school students explore careers in medicine through a day of speakers and workshops.
OMS NY co-president and St. Luke’s senior Amelie Warneryd ‘20, along with a team of Fairfield and Westchester County students, organized this event. St. Luke’s parent Dr. Lauren Ernberg was one of the presenters and led a radiology workshop. St. Luke’s club members Hannah Gunn ‘23,
Ping Ryan ‘21, and Danielle Nares ‘21 were among the students who attended the conference.
