The win sets up an intriguing matchup with #1 seed, Hopkins School, in Friday’s championship game at 4pm in New Haven.

Head Coach Troy Haynie said after the game: “I knew we would have to hit well today and we did. I have been saying all week that King would score some runs and we would need to make sure we were on our game. We are looking forward to Friday’s matchup against Hopkins.”
