St. Luke's Student Programmers Stand Out at Quinnipiac

St. Luke's has two teams place in the top three at Quinnipiac University High School Programming Competition.

St. Luke’s sent three teams of student programmers to the 13th annual Quinnipiac University High School Programming Competition on Saturday, April 14. The teams included Archer Goodwyn '21 (Weston), Ellie Haljun '19 (Wilton), and Carolina Warneryd '19 (Weston)—2nd place; Dominic DeMarco '20 (New Canaan), Liam Patty '21 (Wilton), and Dennis Polyakov '18 (Norwalk)—3rd place; and Hannah Amendola '19 (Fairfield), Jack Briggs '19 (Darien), and Jamie Ullman '20 (New Canaan)—finalists.

At the one-day competition, 19 teams of three students from regional high schools worked to solve a wide range of computer science problems. Teams were ranked according to the number and speed of problems solved.
