Three St. Luke's Athletic teams have qualified for the NEPSAC postseason tournament

Three St. Luke’s sports teams qualified for their respective New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) postseason tournaments this fall.

Varsity Volleyball was given the number five seed in Class C and will travel to number four seed Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Mass. The Storm finished the regular season 8-5 and is heading into Wednesday’s 3:30pm quarterfinal hoping to advance to Saturday’s semifinal.

Boys Varsity Soccer was handed the number six seed and will travel to St. Andrew’s School in Barrington, R.I., on Wednesday, November 13, for its Class C quarterfinal. The Storm finished runners-up in the FAA Tournament after a tough loss to Hopkins School in the Championship game. St. Luke’s finished the season with an overall record of 11-5-2 and will look to upset the number three seeded St. Andrew’s at 2pm on Wednesday.

Girls Varsity Soccer was given the number three seed and will host Ethel Walker School at 2pm on Wednesday, November 13. The Storm finished its season with an overall record of 12-3-1, winning the FAA tournament title on Friday, November 8, after beating Greenwich Academy 2-1 in the Championship game. GVS hopes to add a New England title, but knows they have a tough game against a strong Walker’s team.
