St. Luke's Truwit Swims To National Championship
Alexandra Truwit qualified for the Junior National Swimming Championships in July

St. Luke's senior Alexandra Truwit qualified for the Junior National Swimming Championship with an outstanding performance at the 2018 Speedo Eastern Zone Sectionals in Ithaca, New York.
Truwit competed in five freestyle races over 100, 200, 500, 1000 and 1650 yards during the four-day event between March 22-25. She finished on the podium four times with a third-place finish in the 200 and 500 races, a second-place finish in 1000 freestyle before winning the 1650 race on the final day.
Truwit will compete in the Junior National Championships in a number of the same events between July 31-Aug 4 in Irvine, California.
