NEW CANAAN, CT — For the 2019 season, Summer Theatre of New Canaan will host shows under a tent downtown at a site owned by the New Canaan Library, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.

The move from Waveny Park, where STONC previously held shows, was necessary due to drainage issues at the park and increased activity from other events.

Last week, the Planning & Zoning Commission approved a special permit allowing the move to the parcel known as Christine's Garden, which is located on the corner of Maple Street and South Avenue.
