Suspect Arrested In New Canaan Sexual Assault Case
Leland Robinson, 31, was arrested in New York on Monday.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The suspect wanted by New Canaan police in connection with a sexual assault case was apprehended in Brooklyn, NY on Monday, according to authorities.
Leland Robinson, 31, whose last known address was in Mount Vernon, NY, was taken into custody by members of the FBI Fugitive Task Force and New Canaan police.
He has been charged on a warrant with the following:

- Enticing a minor by computer
- Second-degree sexual assault
- Fourth-degree sexual assault
- Risk of injury to a child
Details of the circumstances surrounding the case have not been disclosed.
Bond information was not immediately available, but Robinson is expected to be extradited back to Connecticut in the near future.
