AT&T Expands Coverage In New Canaan
A historical dead zone in the area is now being covered.
NORWALK, CT — AT&T has installed a new cell tower to fix a dead zone near exit 38 on the Merritt Parkway in Norwalk.
The 140-foot tower will also extend coverage into nearby New Canaan, according to the Hour.
The monopole tower has no visible equipment. It took 15 or 16 years to get the tower up and running. The Bridgeport-Stamford area was ranked next to last for performance in metropolitan regions nationally by RootMetrics.
