Tax Increase Proposed in Latest New Canaan Budget
The Town Council is slated to discuss and vote on the proposal in March.

NEW CANAAN, CT - Local property taxes could rise about 3.6 percent should the Town Council approve the Board of Finance’s recent proposal for the 2016-17 Fiscal Year.
The New Canaan Advertiser reports the proposal would generate an additional $4.6 million in taxes.
