Threat Investigated, Juvenile Charged At New Canaan High School

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 16-year-old New Canaan High School student was issued a juvenile summons charging him with breach of peace on Monday following a threat that he made toward other students, according to New Canaan police.
The nature of the threat was not disclosed, but it "implied harm would come to other students" at the school. A complaint about the threat was received by the school's resource officer at about 12:45 p.m. on the 13th.
"An investigation into the threat was conducted by the SRO and Youth Sergeant," New Canaan police said in a statement. "The threat was deemed not credible."
