Town Council Votes on Saxe School Project
The council voted on the $18.6 million project Monday night.
The New Canaan Town Council voted unanimously to approve the $18.6 million Saxe Middle School renovation and expansion project.
The project now has all town approvals, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
Plans call for a two-story classroom addition that will add 12 new classrooms. The auditorium will also be renovated as part of the project.

Construction will likely end by the start of the 2017-2018 school year. The auditorium renovation will likely be completed in February 2017.
