Town Players of New Canaan Announce Auditions

Town Players of New Canaan have announced auditions for Olympus on My Mind.

Olympus On My Mind is set in the ancient city of Thebes and takes place during the course of a 41-hour day. The play is based upon the Greek myth of Amphitryon. In the tale, Jupiter (Zeus) comes to Earth to woo the Alcmene. He appears to her in the form of her absent husband Amphitryon. Things go well until the real Amphitryon appears.

The play is being directed by Tom Butterworth and produced by Janet Adams. The Musical Director is Jerold Goldstein and the choreographer is Lauren Nicole Sherwood.

Auditions will be held at the powerhouse Theatre at Waveny Park on Monday, February 23 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, February 24 at 7p.m.
