U11 2007 NCFC Girls Black Team are Columbus Day Tournament Champs!

U 11 2007 New Canaan FC Girls Black Team wins Columbus Day Tournament held in Ridgefield on Saturday, October 7th.
The team dominated the first two games, beating Chappequa (5-0) and Fairfield (4-0). The third and final game clinched the tournament win against the home team, Ridgefield (4-2).
Coach Barry Beattie led his team to victory with the help of goal keepers: Pia Bausman, Clare O'Shea and Reagan Thom. Alternating between forward and striker, Addie Crowley and Tessa Riley took command with strong and dominating midfield positions played by Ava Cook, Lyla DeGaetano, Darian Dimuzio, Brooke Garcia, Adelaide Tuff and Pia Bausman. Goals were scored by Pia Bausman, Addie Crowley, Darian Dimuzio and Tessa Riley. Defenders played by Libby Besgen, Charlotte Moor, Clare O'Shea, Lilly Sommers and Reagan Thom controlled their opponents and provided a solid barrier to the goal.
