Updated Locust Avenue Tiered Parking Plans Released

The new plan comes with fewer spots than a previous plan.

NEW CANAAN, CT — New plans for the Locust Avenue tiered parking deck have been released and it comes with 12 fewer spots and an updated cost of $4.1 million.

Funding for the project has to be approved by the Board of Finance and Town Council, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

There are now 230 parking spaces in the updated design, an increase of 77 spots from the current 153 spaces.

Current plans call for permitted parking on the top level and general public parking on the bottom level.
