Visibility Issues at East Maple/Main Streets Concern Police Commission
Neighbors and the shop owner have had a years-long dispute about where vehicles from the shop should park.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The Police Commission asked the Police Department to talk to the owner of AC Auto Body one more time about parking and visibility issues before it considers other options.
Neighbors of the auto body shop after been in a years-long dispute over where vehicles from the shop should be allowed to park on East Maple, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. The owner of the shop wasn't present for the meeting.
Commission Chairman Stuart Sawabini said he drove by East Maple recently and a vehicle obstructed his ability to see oncoming traffic.

The commission hopes that the issue can be worked out verbally without any further action.
