Waiters Stole Money from Roger Sherman Inn: PD

NEW CANAAN, CT — Two Norwalk men were arrested after they stole about $1,500 in cash while working as waiters at the Roger Sherman Inn, police said.

The theft was reported to police Dec. 29 and occurred on Dec. 25.

Police investigated and arrest warrants were issued for Mario Montes, 45, and Eduardo Navarro, 50.

Both men turned themselves in Jan. 27 and were charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy. They were each held on $10,000 bonds.
