Water Main Break Reported In New Canaan: Aquarion

NEW CANAAN, CT — A water main break was reported Friday morning on Brushy Ridge Road and Strawberry Hill Road in New Canaan by Aquarion Water Company.

Approximately 20 homes are affected by the break, according to Aquarion. The estimated restoration time is between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

During and after the outage event, some customers may experience discolored water, according to Aquarion. Customers may want to use stored water for drinking and cooking and delay washing clothes until water is clear.

Customers are encouraged to run their cold water faucet until the water appears clear prior to resuming use for these purposes.
