Weekend Train Service In New Canaan To Be Temporarily Replaced By Buses: Town
Town officials said bus service will temporarily replace train service on the New Canaan Line on the following weekends.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Weekend train service in New Canaan will be temporarily replaced by bus service on certain weekends starting in April, according to the town.
In a Facebook post Friday, town officials said weekend train service on the New Canaan Line will be temporarily replaced by buses due to upgrades by the state Department of Transportation at the Stamford rail maintenance facility.
Bus service will replace train service on the following weekends, according to the town:

- April 10, 17, 24
- May 1, 8, 15, 29
- June 5
Town officials also noted there will be "no disruption Memorial Day weekend," which falls on May 23-25 this year.
Buses will connect to New Haven Line trains at Stamford Station, and travelers are asked to please allow for extra travel time, according to the town.
