The Young Women's League and Staying Put Spruce Up

On Dec. 17, members of the The Young Women’s League and Staying Put in New Canaan prepared holiday wreaths to decorate the doors of local seniors for the holiday season.

“It was so much fun to have a festive holiday activity that engaged multiple generations. We loved helping local seniors decorate wreaths and everyone left the event in high spirits,” reported Rozena Verda, programs chair for the Young Women’s League. “It will be a memorable highlight from the holidays.”

The Young Women’s League of New Canaan (YWL) is known for hosting numerous charity events around town including the Holiday Market at Waveny House, the Easter Egg Hunt and Couture for a Cause that raise funds for the YWL giving fund. Members also donate their time and skills to numerous community events.
