NEW HAVEN, CT — A 15-year-old New Haven boy was stabbed during an altercation Wednesday afternoon near Sherman and Whalley avenues.

The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury and was treated at the Pediatric Emergency Department at Yale New Haven Hospital, which contacted police about the incident.
